Day 1

Manaus / Arrival / Canoeing

Departure from Manaus, Amazonas: PlanetaEXO's local partner will pick you up at the airport or your hotel at 8 AM. The journey to the lodge, which includes sections by car and boat, takes 3–4 hours total.

Kick off your Manaus Jungle Tour by heading to Ceasa Port, where you'll make a quick stop at the local fish and fruit market before embarking on a boat. On the way to Careiro da Várzea across the Solimões and Negro rivers, you'll witness the fascinating Meeting of Waters. The journey to your accommodation in the Amazon Rainforest is an adventure in itself.

After another drive and boat ride (keep an eye out for giant water lilies and animals along the way), you'll arrive at the lodge, check into your room, and have lunch. In the afternoon, join a motorized canoe trip to explore the surrounding area.

Day 2

Sunrise / Hiking / Piranha Fishing / Night Spotting

In the early morning, the group watches the sunrise on motorized canoes in the middle of the rivers (also a great opportunity for birdwatching!).

The next activity is a jungle hike combined with survival lessons focused on the identification of edible and medicinal plants. In the afternoon, fish for piranhas.

After dinner, join a spotlighting tour to find nocturnal animals, including caimans, owls, tapirs, frogs, and more.

Day 3

Caboclo Community / Back to Manaus

Visit a caboclo community (local houses and a school) to learn all about the village's way of life: culture, traditions, education, connection with the forest, and sustainable practices.

The 3-day Amazon Tour comes to an end after lunch. You will be safely transferred back to Manaus.

Departure from the lodge: PlanetaEXO's local partner will transfer you back to Manaus in the afternoon. The journey to the airport or your hotel, which includes sections by car and boat, takes 3–4 hours. Scheduled arrival at 5:30 PM.
