Tucano Amazon River Cruise: 5-day Wild Expedition in Brazil

Amazon
4 Nights·5 Days

Overview

One of the finest small ship Amazon river cruises, the Tucano offers a deep dive into the heart of the largest rainforest on Earth, with truly immersive, authentic experiences for travelers who want to connect with nature.

Thanks to its yacht-style vessel, the M/Y Tucano goes further into the wilderness than any other Amazon river cruise in Brazil, reaching the Central Amazon Conservation Complex, an area so remote only smaller boats can get there.

Sailing the Negro River, the expedition includes guided hikes, kayaking and wildlife watching. After a full day of activities, you relax in the comfortable cabins and common areas of the vessel.

  • A river cruise on a 3-floor vessel, perfect for small groups and immersion in nature.
  • Comfortable en-suite cabins with air conditioning, excellent beds and rustic, charming decor.
  • Outdoor activities: hiking, kayaking, boat rides and wildlife watching with bilingual guides.
  • Visiting the Central Amazon Conservation Complex, one of the forest's most remote areas.
  • All-inclusive experience: round-trip transfer, meals and full crew support.
  • Please note: This is a dynamic small-ship expedition (only 12 to 16 travelers) with an active pace, 3 to 5 guided excursions a day. Travelers should be fit enough to walk on uneven terrain for up to 2 hours. There is no Wi-Fi or phone signal on board (a satellite phone is available for emergencies), and the itinerary adapts to water levels.
