Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival / Canoeing (for morning arrivals)

Staff pick you up in Manaus, from your hotel (8:00–8:30 am) or the airport (1:00–2:30 pm). Morning arrivals begin with canoeing through the flooded forest in traditional caboclo canoes. After settling in, enjoy the à la carte restaurant surrounded by jungle, then head out on a night tour with expert guides to discover the Amazon after dark.

Day 2

Full day at Madadá Caves

After breakfast you leave at 8:30 am for a full day at the Madadá Caves. A speedboat ride takes you deeper into the Amazon, followed by a trek to mysterious rock formations estimated at 700 million years old. At midday, lunch is served at the Advanced Base, a secluded retreat 50 km from the lodge, with a gastronomic experience by the chef. You return around 5:30 pm to relax and have dinner.

Day 3

Sunrise tour / Riverside community

The day begins early, at 5:00 am, to watch the rainforest wake up as the boat sails across the rivers and the sky fills with color. Later in the morning you visit a riverside community to meet locals whose life revolves around fishing, agriculture and artisanal crafts. The evening is free to enjoy the pool or the floating bar.

Day 4

Full-day expedition on a regional boat

After breakfast you leave at 8:30 am for a full-day expedition along the Rio Negro aboard a traditional Amazonian boat, with refreshing swims at the freshwater beaches of Anavilhanas National Park and chances to spot Amazon river dolphins. A barbecued-fish lunch is prepared on board. You return to the lodge at 5:30 pm for dinner.

Day 5

Hiking / Recreational fishing / Archery

A morning hike through the dryland forest (from around 8:00 am) reveals the trees, plants and animals of the jungle. In the afternoon, a recreational fishing trip in the igarapés targets piranhas and local species (replaced by an igapó flooded-forest trail in low water). You can also try archery using traditional Waimiri-Atroari bows and arrows, an indigenous technique used for centuries.

Day 6

Departure

Enjoy your last breakfast at the lodge. Departure is at 8:00 am or 1:30 pm depending on your schedule; afternoon departures leave time for a final canoe tour or relaxation at the lodge before saying goodbye. Drop-off from the lodge is at 8:00 am for flights before 6:30 pm, or at 1:30 pm.
