Brazil’s Wild Cerrado Tour at Pousada Trijunção

Brazil
4 Nights·5 Days

Overview

Located in the state of Bahia, Brazil, very close to the triple border with Goiás and Minas Gerais, Pousada Trijunção is the number-one place to stay when visiting the Cerrado — named by National Geographic's Best of the World 2025.

With delicious food, cozy facilities and just seven suites, this highly exclusive Cerrado lodge is perfect for nature lovers who enjoy the outdoors and wildlife watching. The main attraction is the maned wolf sighting in partnership with Onçafari, a non-profit that helps maned wolves, jaguars and other Cerrado animals grow used to vehicles and people — supporting ecotourism while protecting the fauna and the environment.

Trijunção is also known for its sustainability efforts: solar energy, rainwater harvesting and recycling are among the eco-friendly practices at the lodge, which also runs a conservation area for breeding and releasing wild animals. While hiking, birdwatching, kayaking and biking, you'll meet one of Brazil's most beautiful biomes and dive deep into the soul of the Cerrado.

The itinerary below is a 5-day Wild Cerrado Tour, but you can adjust the number of days to your preferences. Talk to us to book a tailor-made trip!
