After landing at Alta Floresta Airport in Mato Grosso, our team takes you straight towards the lodge. Thanks to its exclusive location, the boat ride along the Cristalino River is already your first activity — take it all in. On arrival you check in, discover the lodge's facilities, enjoy a short hike to start on the right foot, then settle in and rest. Try the restaurant's recipes made with fresh forest ingredients; you'll need the energy for the days ahead.

Day 2

Sierra Trails hike / Teles Pires River

After a delicious breakfast, the first activity is hiking the Sierra Trails — four trails of moderate difficulty, perfect for exploring Amazonian flora. You'll see chestnut trees that produce Brazil nuts, flowers, valleys and a fantastic sunrise viewpoint. In the afternoon, after lunch, choose between canoeing or a boat ride on the Teles Pires River, a great moment for wildlife watching from the water and the banks. In the evening: dinner, a drink at the bar, the floating deck around the bonfire or a book in the reading room.

Day 3

Wildlife watching from the observation towers

The day starts with a lovely hike on trails ideal for wildlife watching, especially birds found only in this area, such as the Amazonian Umbrellabird and the majestic Cryptic Forest Falcon — your guides turn it into a biology lesson. In the afternoon, more canoeing and boat rides lead to the 50-metre watchtowers, the perfect height for a mesmerizing sunset. Birds and even monkeys often show up to say hello. Don't forget your camera.

Day 4

Forest hikes / Canoeing / Boat trips

Nothing beats starting the day with an Amazon hike. Forest hikes immerse you in nature among ancient trees, flooded areas, bamboo, water streams and rock formations — if you're lucky, you'll spot a red-handed howler monkey. The day also includes canoeing on the Cristalino River or in flooded forest, both excellent for spotting animals. You can even combine the two: walk a trail in the morning and canoe back to the lodge. Talk to the guides about your options.

Day 5

Departure

On the fifth day, enjoy a last Brazilian breakfast and a short activity before checkout — your final moment to appreciate the Amazon view, breathe the forest air and take photos. On the transfer back to Alta Floresta Airport, snacks are provided before goodbye.
