Pantanal Jaguar Budget Safari

Brazil
3 Nights·4 Days

Overview

This Pantanal Jaguar Budget Safari combines the best wildlife corridors of the Northern Pantanal — Poconé and Porto Jofre, in the state of Mato Grosso — into a 4-day adventure that keeps costs lower without giving up the experience itself. The route is built around the world’s best place to spot jaguars in the wild, with full-day boat safaris along the Cuiabá, Piquiri, and Três Irmãos rivers.

Days are filled with diverse activities: jaguar boat safaris in Porto Jofre, jeep and night safaris around the lodge area in Poconé, walking trails at sunrise, and plenty of opportunities to see capybaras, caimans, giant otters, anteaters, and an incredible array of birds.

The savings come from two specific choices: simple but comfortable lodges (instead of premium properties) and one less night in Porto Jofre compared to extended jaguar tours. Round-trip transfers from Cuiabá, full board, all activities, and a private English-speaking guide remain included.

  • Full itinerary: jaguar boat safari, night safari, and hiking.
  • Best chances in the world to see jaguars in their natural habitat (Porto Jofre).
  • Frequent sightings of capybaras, caimans, giant otters, anteaters, and exotic birds.
  • Up to 30% more affordable than premium jaguar-watching tours, without compromising the safari experience.
  • Activities guided by English-speaking local experts.
  • All-inclusive: round-trip transfer from Cuiabá, accommodation, full board, and local guides.
  • Custom tour: extend your stay by adding more days, or combine with the Southern Pantanal for a deeper Pantanal experience.
